Black Desert (Egypt)

The Black Desert is a region in Egypt, located southwest of the White Desert and approximately 50 km from Bahariya Oasis. It is characterized by its stark, volcanic-shaped mountains, many of which are covered in a layer of black dust and rocks, giving the area its distinctive dark appearance. This black material is composed of dolerite, a volcanic rock.
