Joseph Kahn (director)

Joseph Kahn (born Joseph Kahn Ma, October 12, 1972) is a Grammy Award-winning American film director, music video director, and director of commercials. He is known for his distinctive, high-energy visual style, often incorporating elements of action, fantasy, and humor.

Kahn has directed music videos for numerous prominent artists including Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. He has collaborated extensively with Taylor Swift, directing several of her most iconic videos such as "Blank Space," "Bad Blood," and "Look What You Made Me Do."

Beyond music videos, Kahn has also directed feature films, including Torque (2004), a high-octane action film, and Detention (2011), a horror-comedy. He also directed the action-comedy Bodied (2017), a satirical film exploring the world of battle rap, which he also wrote and co-produced.
