Metsä (album)

Metsä is the third studio album by the Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani. It was released in 2005.

The album title, "Metsä," translates to "Forest" in Finnish. The album's themes primarily revolve around Finnish folklore, mythology, nature, and the forest, consistent with Korpiklaani's established musical style.

Metsä continues Korpiklaani's exploration of folk instruments and traditional Finnish melodies intertwined with heavy metal elements. The album incorporates instruments such as the violin, accordion, and jouhikko (a traditional Finnish bowed lyre) alongside electric guitars, bass, and drums.
