Zach Lutz
Zach Lutz (born February 5, 1986) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets.
Lutz was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 50th round of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Mets organization in 2011.
He made his MLB debut for the New York Mets on September 3, 2012. He played sparingly over the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
Lutz was known primarily for his role as a utility player, capable of playing multiple infield positions. Following his time with the Mets, he continued his career in the minor leagues.
