Ravi Patel (actor)
Ravi Patel (born December 18, 1978) is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his roles in television and film, particularly for his comedic and dramatic portrayals of Indian-American characters.
Patel gained wider recognition for his documentary, Meet the Patels (2014), which he co-directed and starred in with his sister, Geeta Patel. The film chronicles his journey to find a spouse while navigating the expectations of his Indian-American family and culture.
His acting credits include roles in television series such as Scrubs, Easy, Master of None, American Housewife, and The Muppets. He has also appeared in films like Transformers, Get Hard, and Long Shot.
In addition to acting, Patel has worked as a producer and writer. He co-created and starred in the CNN docuseries Ravi Patel's Pursuit of Happiness.
