Kells railway station (County Meath)
Kells railway station served the town of Kells in County Meath, Ireland. It was located on the Oldcastle branch of the Great Northern Railway (Ireland).
The station opened on 1 September 1893 and closed to passenger traffic on 14 April 1958. Freight services continued until 1963.
The station building still exists, although it is now in private ownership. The trackbed has largely been removed, although some sections are still visible. The station played a significant role in the economic and social life of Kells, facilitating the transport of agricultural produce, livestock, and passengers to and from the town. Its closure marked a decline in railway infrastructure across Ireland during the mid-20th century.
