Inghirami (crater)
Inghirami is a lunar impact crater that is located near the southwestern limb of the Moon. Due to its position, the crater is viewed at a low angle from Earth, and its visibility is significantly affected by libration. The crater lies to the southwest of the larger crater Wargentin, and northeast of the even larger walled plain Schickard.
The rim of Inghirami is heavily eroded and irregular, with a multitude of small craters along the crest. The inner walls are terraced in places, but these features are worn and subdued. The floor of the crater has been resurfaced by lava flows, leaving a relatively level surface with a lower albedo than the surrounding terrain. A number of tiny craterlets mark the floor, but there are no significant central peaks. The crater Inghirami C is attached to the southern outer rim.
