Baffins

Baffins may refer to:

• Baffin Island: The largest island in Canada, and the fifth largest island in the world. It is located in the territory of Nunavut and is part of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. The island is characterized by its rugged mountains, glaciers, and fjords.

• Baffin Bay: A body of water located between Baffin Island and Greenland. It is connected to the Atlantic Ocean via the Davis Strait and to the Arctic Ocean via several channels. Baffin Bay is known for its icebergs and cold waters.

• William Baffin (c. 1584 – 1622): An English navigator and explorer, primarily known for his explorations in the Arctic. Baffin extensively charted the area around Baffin Island and Baffin Bay in the early 17th century. Many geographical features in the region are named after him.

• Baffins Pond: A small pond located in Portsmouth, England.
