Euro 7 (Dutch TV channel)
Euro 7 was a short-lived Dutch commercial television channel that broadcast between 1995 and 1996. The channel was launched by Lex Harding and broadcast primarily entertainment and information programming. Despite initial plans for a broader reach, Euro 7 faced difficulties in securing a substantial audience and advertising revenue. Its programming was perceived by some as lacking a clear focus and failing to differentiate itself from existing Dutch channels. Ultimately, Euro 7 was acquired by Holland Media Group (HMG) in 1996 and ceased broadcasting. The channel's frequencies and some of its programming were subsequently integrated into other HMG channels, primarily Net5. Its short existence makes it a relatively minor footnote in the history of Dutch commercial television.
