Tetri Giorgi (organization)

Tetri Giorgi (Georgian: თეთრი გიორგი, meaning "White George") is a Georgian political organization and paramilitary group. It was founded in 1990 by Giorgi Chanturia. The organization's ideology is rooted in Georgian nationalism, advocating for the territorial integrity of Georgia and the restoration of historical Georgian lands.

Tetri Giorgi played a significant role in the Georgian Civil War in the early 1990s, particularly in the conflict in Abkhazia. The group was known for its involvement in paramilitary activities and its strong stance against separatist movements.

Following Giorgi Chanturia's assassination in 1994, the organization underwent a period of internal struggle and fragmentation. While it remained active in Georgian politics, its influence gradually declined.
