Soul Serenade (Derek Trucks album)
Soul Serenade is a 2006 live album by American blues-rock and jazz guitarist Derek Trucks. The album was recorded at various concerts during the Derek Trucks Band's 2006 summer tour. It features a mix of original compositions, classic blues and soul covers, and improvisational jams showcasing Trucks' virtuosic slide guitar playing.
The album's title is taken from the Curtis Ousley (King Curtis) song "Soul Serenade," a version of which is included on the recording.
