Ehrlich (crater)

Ehrlich is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the southeast of the larger crater Paschen, and northwest of Backlund.

This crater is a relatively unremarkable feature, with a somewhat eroded outer rim and a relatively featureless interior. Several small craterlets lie along the rim and within the inner walls. The rim is roughly circular but has some minor irregularities. The inner walls slope down to the crater floor, which is level and marked only by a few tiny impacts.

Ehrlich is named after the German scientist Paul Ehrlich.
