Ricardo Silva (footballer, born 1980)

Ricardo Jorge Silva Araújo, (born 9 February 1980), known as Ricardo Silva, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played primarily as a central defender.

Silva began his professional career with Salgueiros in 1998. He played for a number of Portuguese clubs, including Moreirense, Penafiel, and Leixões. He also had a spell in Cyprus with APOP Kinyras Peyias. Silva's career was mostly spent in the Portuguese second tier, with occasional appearances in the Primeira Liga. He retired from professional football in the mid-2010s.
