Jat Chuen (constituency)
Jat Chuen is a geographical constituency in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong. It is one of the 41 constituencies in the Sha Tin District Council. The constituency is named after the public housing estate, Jat Chuen Estate, which forms a significant portion of its electorate.
The constituency covers the Jat Chuen Estate, as well as surrounding private residential developments and villages. The boundaries are subject to change based on periodic reviews conducted by the Electoral Affairs Commission.
The representative elected from Jat Chuen constituency serves a four-year term on the Sha Tin District Council, participating in discussions and decisions concerning local affairs, community development, environmental issues, and the allocation of district resources.
