William Mullen (journalist)

William Mullen is an American journalist. He worked for the Chicago Tribune for over 40 years, primarily as an investigative reporter and feature writer. He has received numerous awards for his reporting, including a Pulitzer Prize in Explanatory Journalism in 1995 for a series on the consequences of ozone depletion. Mullen is also the author of several books, including "Billy Goat Curse: Curses, Superstitions, and the Chicago Cubs," and "Unforgiving Coast: Understanding the Deadly Waves of Lakes Michigan and Superior." His work often focuses on environmental issues, science, and Chicago history.
