Hatfields & McCoys (miniseries)
Hatfields & McCoys is a 2012 American three-part historical television miniseries based on the Hatfield–McCoy feud. Directed by Kevin Reynolds, it stars Kevin Costner as William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield and Bill Paxton as Randolph "Randall" McCoy, and explores the infamous conflict between two families in the Appalachian region of the United States during and after the American Civil War.
The miniseries details the origins of the feud, tracing it back to the Civil War and the tensions arising from divided loyalties, disputed land, and accusations of theft and murder. It depicts the escalating violence and revenge killings that characterized the conflict, leading to significant loss of life and enduring animosity between the families.
