Tom Ryan (lacrosse)
Tom Ryan is an American lacrosse coach, currently serving as the head men's lacrosse coach at Ohio State University. He assumed the position in June 2011.
Prior to Ohio State, Ryan was the head coach at Harvard University from 2007 to 2011. He significantly improved the Harvard program, leading them to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2006 since 1998.
Ryan also served as an assistant coach at Yale University, UMass Amherst, and Army.
His coaching record at Ohio State includes multiple NCAA tournament appearances and a Big Ten tournament championship. Ryan is known for his emphasis on player development and a disciplined, team-oriented approach to the game. He has received numerous coaching awards and honors throughout his career.
