Western Baptist Bible College (Missouri)

Western Baptist Bible College (WBBC) was a fundamental Independent Baptist college located in Kansas City, Missouri. Founded in 1948, the college aimed to train pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers for ministry. It was known for its conservative theological stance and emphasis on biblical inerrancy.

WBBC offered undergraduate degrees in areas such as Bible, theology, missions, Christian education, and music. The curriculum heavily emphasized Bible study and practical ministry training.

The college operated for several decades, but eventually faced challenges related to enrollment, funding, and accreditation. In 2002, Western Baptist Bible College closed its doors. The campus and assets were subsequently acquired by Calvary University, another Baptist institution located in the Kansas City area.

While WBBC no longer exists as an independent entity, its legacy remains through its alumni who serve in various ministry roles throughout the world. Its historical records and some academic materials are reportedly held by Calvary University.
