Encore (TV series)

Encore! is a reality television series that aired on Disney+ from 2019 to 2020. The show reunited former high school classmates to recreate their original school musical production.

Premise:

Each episode featured a different cast of adults who had previously performed in a musical together during their high school years. The participants, now having pursued diverse careers and life paths, returned to their hometown to relive their theatrical past. Over the course of a week, with the guidance of Broadway professionals including a director, choreographer, and music director, they relearned the show, navigated personal connections, and ultimately staged a new performance of their old high school musical.
