Tash (rapper)

Tash, born Rico Smith in Columbus, Ohio, is an American rapper and a member of the West Coast hip-hop group Tha Alkaholiks. He is known for his distinctive voice, laid-back flow, and humorous lyrics.

Tash gained prominence in the early to mid-1990s as part of Tha Alkaholiks, alongside J-Ro and E-Swift. The group released several critically acclaimed albums, including "21 & Over" (1993) and "Coast II Coast" (1995), contributing significantly to the West Coast hip-hop scene. Their music often celebrated partying and carefree living.

Beyond his work with Tha Alkaholiks, Tash has also released solo material, including the album "Rap Life" (1999) and "Control Freek" (2009). These projects allowed him to explore his individual style and lyrical themes.
