Tanhaçu

Tanhaçu is a municipality in the state of Bahia, Brazil. It is located in the southwestern part of the state. The estimated population in 2020 was 20,246 inhabitants. Tanhaçu is primarily an agricultural region, with cattle ranching and the cultivation of crops such as coffee, corn, and beans being important to its economy. The municipality is also known for its granite mining activities.
