John Row (Australian politician)

John Row (born 1952) is an Australian politician who served as a Liberal Party member of the Western Australian Legislative Council from 1993 to 2017, representing the Mining and Pastoral Region.

Before entering politics, Row worked as a jackaroo and in various roles within the pastoral and mining industries in Western Australia's north-west.

During his time in Parliament, Row served on numerous committees and held positions such as Deputy Chairman of Committees. He was known for his advocacy for issues affecting regional Western Australia, particularly those related to mining, pastoralism, and infrastructure. He also took an interest in Aboriginal affairs and land rights issues within the Mining and Pastoral Region. Row retired from the Legislative Council prior to the 2017 state election.
