Solo (TV series)

Solo is the title of two separate television series:

• Solo (1982 TV series): A British television drama series that aired on BBC1 in 1982. It starred Mel Smith as a disillusioned office worker who quits his job and attempts to live a solitary life in the countryside. It was written by Jim Hitchock. The series explored themes of alienation, personal freedom, and the challenges of self-sufficiency.

• Solo (2008 TV series): A three-part British crime drama series that aired on ITV in 2008. It starred Shaun Dooley as DS Jamie Harrow, an undercover police officer who becomes deeply embedded within a criminal organization. The series focused on the psychological toll of long-term undercover work and the blurring of lines between cop and criminal.
