Alexandra Dock railway station (Liverpool Overhead Railway)

Alexandra Dock railway station was a station on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, located on the North Liverpool Docks, England. It served the Alexandra Dock and surrounding industrial area.

The station was situated on the elevated railway line that ran along the Liverpool Docks. It was one of the original stations opened with the railway in 1893. The station's primary purpose was to serve dock workers and passengers transferring to and from ships.

Like other stations on the Liverpool Overhead Railway, Alexandra Dock station had an island platform accessed by stairs from ground level. The platform provided access to trains running in both directions along the line.

The station closed with the rest of the Liverpool Overhead Railway on 30 December 1956 due to structural deterioration of the elevated track and increasing maintenance costs. The station buildings and infrastructure were subsequently demolished. No trace of the station remains today.
