Zeddiani

Zeddiani is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 90 kilometres (56 miles) northwest of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 miles) southeast of Oristano.

Zeddiani borders the following municipalities: Baratili San Pietro, Bauladu, Milis, Narbolia, Riola Sardo, San Vero Milis, Solarussa. The economy is primarily based on agriculture, particularly the cultivation of artichokes and wine grapes. The town also features some small-scale industry and craftsmanship.

Historically, the area around Zeddiani has been inhabited since Nuragic times, as evidenced by the presence of Nuragic archaeological sites in the surrounding countryside. The modern town developed during the Middle Ages and was under the jurisdiction of various local lords before eventually becoming part of the Kingdom of Sardinia.
