Mink (manga)

Mink is a Japanese shōjo manga series written and illustrated by Megumi Tachikawa. It was serialized in Nakayoshi magazine from 1992 to 1996, and later collected into twelve tankōbon volumes.

The story centers around Mink, a young girl with a strong sense of justice and a secret crush on her classmate, Taku Momozono. Taku is obsessed with idols, and Mink learns that his ideal type is a "strong, pure-hearted girl." Determined to win his affection, Mink begins training to become stronger, inadvertently gaining a reputation as a formidable fighter.

Throughout the series, Mink encounters various challenges and rivals, often using her newfound strength and resourcefulness. She also develops her own sense of identity and discovers what truly matters to her, while balancing her desire to win Taku's heart with her own personal growth.
