Higashino Station (東野駅, Higashino-eki) is a railway station located in Yamashina-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It is served by the Kyoto Municipal Subway Tōzai Line. The station is identified by the station number T04.
Location and Layout:
Higashino Station is an underground station. It features an island platform serving two tracks. The concourse level is located above the platform level and provides access to ticket gates, vending machines, and restrooms. The station opened on October 12, 1997, as part of the initial section of the Tōzai Line, running from Daigo to Nijō.
