Craig Barrett (chief executive)

Craig Barrett served as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Intel Corporation from 1998 to 2005. He also served as chairman of the board from 2005 to 2009. Barrett joined Intel in 1974 and held various management positions before becoming CEO. He is credited with leading Intel's expansion beyond its core microprocessor business into areas such as communications and the internet.
