Saints & Sinners (Whitesnake album)

Saints & Sinners is the fifth studio album by the British hard rock band Whitesnake, released in 1982. It was the last album to feature the "classic" early Whitesnake lineup of David Coverdale on vocals, Micky Moody and Bernie Marsden on guitars, Neil Murray on bass, and Ian Paice on drums.

The album marked a return to a heavier, more blues-rock oriented sound compared to their previous release, Come an' Get It. While not an immediate commercial success, Saints & Sinners gained popularity over time and is now considered a classic Whitesnake album by many fans. It features several well-known tracks, including "Here I Go Again", although this version is different from the more commercially successful 1987 re-recording. Other notable tracks include "Victim of Love", "Bloody Luxury", and the title track, "Saints & Sinners".

Tensions within the band were reportedly high during the recording of Saints & Sinners, which contributed to the subsequent departures of Marsden, Moody, and Paice. The album's artwork depicts a stylized snake emblem against a stark black background.
