Alexander Anderson (mathematician)

Alexander Anderson (1888-1974) was a Scottish mathematician known for his work in analysis, particularly in the areas of functional analysis and infinite series. He was educated at the University of Glasgow, where he also spent the majority of his academic career.

Anderson's research focused on summability methods, convergence criteria for infinite series and integrals, and the theory of linear operators in Hilbert spaces.
