Solo (Dutch band)
Solo was a Dutch pop band, formed in 1981 by former members of the band Solution. The core members of Solo were Willem Ennes (keyboards), Hans Waterman (drums), and Peter van Asten (guitar).
The band achieved moderate success in the Netherlands during the 1980s, primarily with their singles "Later Is All Gone" and "Come On". Their music was characterized by a blend of pop, rock, and funk influences, often featuring sophisticated arrangements and Ennes' prominent keyboard work.
Solo released several albums throughout the 1980s. While they never achieved widespread international fame, they maintained a dedicated following in the Netherlands and were known for their strong live performances.
The band eventually disbanded in the late 1980s. After the breakup, the members pursued individual projects within the Dutch music scene.
