Seret (Drohobych)
Seret is a village located within the Drohobych Raion of the Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. It is situated approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) southwest of the city of Drohobych. Administratively, Seret falls under the jurisdiction of the Medenychi settlement council (селищна рада).
Historically, Seret, like much of the region, has been subject to various shifts in control between different empires and nations, including periods under Polish, Austro-Hungarian, and Soviet rule, before becoming part of independent Ukraine.
