Sally Roberts (wrestler)

Sally Roberts (born July 20, 1980) is a Welsh freestyle wrestler and sports administrator. She represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, competing in the women's 63kg category. Roberts started wrestling at the relatively late age of 28 after a career in taekwondo. Prior to the Olympics, she worked as a firefighter.

Roberts is a multiple-time British champion and has competed in numerous international tournaments, including the World Wrestling Championships and European Wrestling Championships. She has also been a vocal advocate for increasing participation in women's wrestling and promoting the sport within the UK.

Following her competitive career, Roberts transitioned into sports administration. She has held positions aimed at developing wrestling programs and supporting athletes, furthering her commitment to the sport. She's also been involved in initiatives promoting equality and diversity within sport.
