Michael Jensen (theologian)

Michael Jensen (born 1959) is an Australian Anglican theologian, academic, and author. He is known for his work in systematic theology, biblical studies, and ethics. He served as the Principal of Moore Theological College in Sydney, Australia from 2003 to 2018.

Jensen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Theology and Master of Theology from Moore Theological College. He was ordained as a deacon in 1983 and as a priest in 1984. He then served in parish ministry before returning to Moore College to teach.

His theological perspective is broadly evangelical and Reformed. He is known for his commitment to the authority of Scripture and his engagement with contemporary theological and cultural issues. He has written extensively on topics such as the Trinity, the atonement, justification, and the Christian life.
