Typhoon Irving (1982)

Typhoon Irving was a significant tropical cyclone that impacted Japan in September 1982. It formed in the Western Pacific Ocean and followed a generally northward track. While not the strongest typhoon of the season, Irving was notable for its considerable rainfall and subsequent flooding across several regions of Japan.
