Cuffs (TV series)

Cuffs was a British police procedural television drama series that aired on BBC One in 2015. The series focused on the lives of a group of rookie police officers working for the fictional Brighton Police, based in the city of Brighton and Hove on the south coast of England. It followed their day-to-day experiences dealing with crime, personal relationships, and the pressures of the job.

The show was created by Robert Murphy and starred Ashley Walters, Amanda Abbington, Jacob Ifan, Peter Sullivan, Eleanor Matsuura, and Paul Ready. It explored themes of crime, morality, social issues, and the challenges faced by law enforcement officers in a modern urban environment. Cuffs was known for its gritty realism and fast-paced storytelling.

Despite receiving generally positive reviews for its performances, writing, and portrayal of policing, the BBC decided not to renew the series for a second season. The single season consisted of eight episodes.
