Devastator (album)

Devastator is the debut studio album by the American electronic music duo Survive. It was released on September 29, 2012, through Mannequin Records. The album is primarily instrumental, featuring a blend of dark ambient textures, vintage synthesizers, and pulsating rhythms. It is characterized by its retro-futuristic soundscapes and atmospheric compositions. The album's title reflects the industrial and dystopian themes present throughout the record. While not a commercially successful album upon initial release, Devastator is considered a foundational work in the revival of synthwave and darksynth genres, and helped establish Survive's signature sound.
