Ruins (First Aid Kit album)

Ruins is the fourth studio album by the Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, released on January 19, 2018, through Columbia Records. The album was produced by Tucker Martine, known for his work with artists such as My Morning Jacket and The Decemberists.

Ruins was largely inspired by a difficult period in Klara Söderberg's life, specifically a breakup experienced while living in Los Angeles. This emotional turmoil heavily influenced the album's lyrical themes, which explore heartbreak, loss, and the process of moving on.
