Robert Gillies (Australian politician)

Robert Gillies (born 19 September 1946) is a former Australian politician who served as a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Council for Western Province from 1996 to 2006.

Gillies was born in Melbourne. Prior to entering parliament, he worked as a teacher. His political interests centered on education and regional development.
