Rick Parker (baseball)

Rick Parker (born August 27, 1957) is a former professional baseball player. He was a catcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for parts of three seasons.

Parker was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 4th round of the 1975 MLB draft. He made his major league debut with the Seattle Mariners on September 6, 1980, playing in 8 games that season. He then played for the New York Mets in 1981 and 1982, appearing in a total of 15 games for the Mets. He played his final MLB game on July 28, 1982.

Following his playing career, Parker has been involved in baseball as a coach.
