Alagwa (film)

Alagwa is a 2012 Filipino neo-noir crime drama film directed by Ian Lorenos.

The film tells the story of Eddie, a father searching for his missing son, who disappeared after being victimized by a child trafficking syndicate. As Eddie delves deeper into Manila's dark underbelly, he uncovers a network of corruption and exploitation, forcing him to confront dangerous individuals and make difficult choices to find his son.

Alagwa stars Jericho Rosales as Eddie and features a supporting cast including Bugoy Cariño. The film received critical acclaim for its gritty realism, compelling performances, and exploration of social issues.
