Regis High School (New York City)

Regis High School is a highly selective, Jesuit high school for boys located in Manhattan, New York City. It was founded in 1914 by Mother Mary Regis Gallagher, a philanthropist and the sister of two Jesuit priests. Regis is known for providing a tuition-free education to Catholic students of exceptional academic ability and leadership potential from the New York metropolitan area.

Admission to Regis is extremely competitive. Applicants are evaluated based on their performance on the Regis High School Entrance Exam (formerly the CHSEE), academic records, and essays.
