David Fowler (politician)

David Fowler is an American politician from Tennessee. He is best known for his conservative political activism and leadership roles within organizations focused on social and religious issues.

Fowler served as a Republican member of the Tennessee State Senate representing the 12th district (Roane, Loudon, and Monroe counties) from 1997 to 2007. During his time in the Senate, he held positions such as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Senate Education Committee.

After leaving the Tennessee State Senate, Fowler became the president of the Family Action Council of Tennessee (FACT), a conservative advocacy organization.
