Barry Ward (Australian rules footballer)

Barry Ward was an Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1970s.

Ward, a rover, joined Fitzroy from Brunswick Amateurs. He made his senior VFL debut in 1973. He played a total of 21 senior games for the Fitzroy Lions over three seasons, his last game coming in 1975. While not a star player, he was a serviceable member of the Fitzroy team during that era. After leaving Fitzroy, he continued to play football at a local level.
