George Adams (footballer, born 1947)

George Adams (born November 20, 1947) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a winger.

Adams began his career with Airdrieonians, making his debut in 1965. He quickly established himself as a key player for the club. In 1969, he signed for Aberdeen.

He spent two seasons at Pittodrie, where he was a regular in the first team. Adams then moved to Dundee in 1971.

Adams enjoyed a successful period with Dundee, playing over 100 league games for the club. He was known for his pace and dribbling ability.

After leaving Dundee, Adams played for several other clubs, including Montrose and Brechin City, before retiring from professional football.

Adams was also capped for Scotland at under-23 level.
