Ōoka Station (Miyagi)
Ōoka Station is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Kakuda, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
Location: Ōoka Station is situated in the city of Kakuda, in the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture.
Lines: The station is served solely by the Tōhoku Main Line. Though officially part of the Tōhoku Main Line, in practice, it functions primarily as a station on the Tōhoku Line’s local service.
Station Layout: Ōoka Station features a single island platform serving two tracks. The station building is a small, unstaffed structure located adjacent to one side of the platform. Access to the platform is via a level crossing.
History: The station opened on December 15, 1919.
