Jean-François Caron (strongman)

Jean-François Caron (born November 28, 1982) is a Canadian professional strongman competitor. He is widely regarded as one of the most dominant strongmen from Canada and has competed in numerous international competitions.

Caron has won the Canada's Strongest Man title nine times, securing victories in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2023. He has also achieved considerable success in the World's Strongest Man (WSM) competition, earning multiple qualifications for the finals and achieving respectable placings.

Known for his all-around strength, Caron excels in a variety of strongman events, including deadlifts, pressing events, and carrying disciplines. He maintains a dedicated training regimen and is a prominent figure in the Canadian strength sports community, inspiring aspiring strongmen and powerlifters. Beyond competition, he runs a gym in Quebec, Canada.
