Klosterstraße (Berlin U-Bahn)

Klosterstraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U2 line. It is situated in the Mitte district of Berlin, underneath the street of the same name. The station opened on July 1, 1913, as part of the extension of the U2 line from Spittelmarkt to Alexanderplatz.

The station's design is relatively simple, featuring a central platform with access points at both ends. The walls are tiled in a cream color, and the station is illuminated by fluorescent lighting.

Nearby points of interest include the ruins of the Klosterkirche (Monastery Church), from which the street and station derive their names. The Märkisches Museum, dedicated to the history and culture of Berlin and the Mark Brandenburg, is also within walking distance.
