Halsey (singer)
Halsey (born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, September 29, 1994) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained recognition from self-released music on social media platforms. Her debut studio album, Badlands (2015), reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Halsey achieved further mainstream success with her subsequent albums Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (2017), Manic (2020), and If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power (2021), all of which reached the top two on the Billboard 200.
Known for her distinctive vocal style and songwriting that explores themes of love, loss, mental health, and social issues, Halsey has received numerous awards and nominations, including MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards. She has also been nominated for Grammy Awards.
