Javier Soler (footballer)
Javier Soler (born April 16, 1952) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a defender.
Career:
Soler played primarily for Valencia CF throughout his career. He was a key member of the Valencia team that won the Copa del Rey in 1979 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1980, captaining the side in the latter final. He spent the majority of his professional career with Valencia, accumulating a significant number of appearances. Before joining Valencia, he briefly played for CD Castellón. After leaving Valencia, he spent a season with RCD Mallorca before retiring from professional football.
